CIRSMA™ provides a system of examining individual hazards
to determine their severity, the need for access to the hazardous
area, and the likelihood of a person avoiding harm should the hazardous
motion occur. This concept is based on the risk assessment methodology
as described in ISO-14121, ISO-12100-1,
ANSI B11.TR3, and EN1050. By considering
individual hazardous areas rather than attempting to assess an entire
system or process as one hazardous area, suitable cost effective protective measures can be selected.
Also included in the program is a facility safety
management system. This feature can help your company
define what who should be allowed into
a hazardous area, the hiring requirements for a
specific task, and the corporate safety policy development
requirements. Personal protective equipment can also
be assigned using the Task Hazard assessment interface.
CIRSMA™ can provide your company with the opportunity
to properly document all of the steps that you have
taken to protect workers and as well as demonstraing due diligence. This type of documentation
is a valuable asset and must be available in the workplace.
